Performance Test Lead

My Dublin based client has an immediate contract requirement for a skilled PERFORMANCE TEST LEAD. THIS IS A 6 MONTH DAILY RATE CONTRACT WITH AN IMMEDIATE START PREFERRED.

PERFORMANCE TESTING SKILL SET- HP LoadRunner, Diagnostics

NFT - Alerts & Monitoring (Tivoli Monitoring Tool), Resilience, Availability, Scalability & Security

- 6-9 years of experience in Performance & Non-Functional testing
- NFR Review, Analysis, Finalizing the Scope and planning & scheduling of the Performance Tests
- Prepare Test Approach/Test Plan
- Prepare/Review Test Scenarios for NFT/Performance Test
- Review of Perf/NFT scripts
- Understanding Networking concepts (Failover, Failback)
- Understanding Backup & Restore (File systems, DB)
- Understanding Resilience, Disaster Recovery (LPAR, Frame)
- Understanding Security (application role based, LDAP, AD, DB security, Network, etc)
- IBM-AIX/HP Unix/Sun Solaris/Redhat Linux OS fundamentals
- Ability to read through existing Shell Scripts, CRON jobs
- Scheduling Batch execution
- Execute Shell Scripts, monitor progress status
- Complete the performance tests with right quality and within budget
- Strategize and plan NFT activities with various groups (Development, Infrastructure, and Database etc.) and secure test environments in advance
- Analysing NFRs and negotiate with stakeholders on scope and strategy
- NFT status tracking and reporting
- Coordinate NFT activities with various groups (Development, Infrastructure, Database etc.)
- Follow best practices, manage a team of 6-8 members and mentor the team members
- Should have worked on Onsite-offshore model
- Database SQL Queries (RDBMS - Oracle, DB2)
