Performance Test Engineer Job

PERFORMANCE TEST ENGINEER needed a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in BARRINGTON, IL.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- QTP, Quality Center/TestDirector, LoadRunner, Performance Center, SiteScope
- Five (5) + years experience as software test engineer
- Excellent communication skills

What You'll Be Doing:

- Installation and configuration of HP LoadRunner and QTP.
- Develop test automation using VuGen created user scenarios. Modifying and enhancing VuGen scripts using parameter substitution, transactions, checkpoints, etc.
- Programming/use of multiple protocols.
- Extracting and reporting test results in presentable format (PPT) to leadership team.
- Installation and configuration of enterprise applications (will be trained).

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Software Test Engineer with five (5) + years of experience and extensive knowledge in test automation and performance measurement of enterprise level applications in healthcare domain.
- Extensive background in HP QuickTest Pro, LoadRunner, Performance Center, SiteScope and ALM.
- Strong expertise in all phases of SDLC and software test management: planning testing process, data and functionality driven test, analysing and reporting results.
- Excellent communication, strong multi-tasking and organizational skills as well as high ethical standards.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to switch easily between varied tasks.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Performance Center, HP Diagnostics, ALM, Windows Scripting (VBS, PowerShell, etc.)
- Operating Systems: Windows 2008/2012, RedHat Linux.
- Virtualization Platforms: VMware ESX/ESXi/VirtualCenter/vSphere, MS Hyper-V, Citrix XenCenter
- RDBMS: MS SQL, Oracle
