Performance Test Engineer

My client is looking for a Performance Test Engineer to push the growth of our Performance Test Team in the web market and tailor the service for Digital TV environments. Working with automated test tools such as Silkperformer (Borland) and open source tools, you will tune the client needs into projects. You responsibilities include the set up the test environment per project, plan and execute test approaches, analyze test results and create comprehensive problem reports.

On the field of training, Testronic Labs is an Accredited Training Partner (ATP) and an Accredited Training Organization for the ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level.

Requirements:

- Bachelor/Master in Computer Science
- 2+ years of experience in Software Testing
- 1+ year of experience in tool based Performance testing
- Good knowledge of network server technologies
- Good knowledge of communication protocols
- Experienced in writing test plans and plans of approach, including effort estimation
- Experienced in performance testing
- Knowledge of testing methodologies & techniques
- Ability to identify and solve problems
- Ability to work independently and in team
- Analytic and critical mindset
- Good communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of English (speak/read/write)
- Willing to travel to clients in Belgium/Europe
- Driver's license

Bonus requirements:

- Software Testing related certificates
- Experienced in JavaScript literate and coding
- Experienced in Digital TV and VOD
- Experience with SilkPerformer

Location:

- 50%: on site in Belgium
- 50%: Travel to clients in Belgium
