Performance Test Engineer
An excellent client of ours is looking to make a number of new hires into their business. They are currently seeking a Performance Test Engineer to join their recently formed application performance and systems characterization test group.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participation in the development and execution of performance test strategies, plans and cases.
- Troubleshoot performance issues and identify/resolve root cause.
- Author test reports to assess the performance health of the systems under test.
- Help in defining, implementing, and monitoring the processes and procedures to resolve and avoid future performance issues.
- Work with other testers (local and remote)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS or MS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- 3 - 5 years' experience in systems characterization and in-depth performance testing experience.
- HP/Mercury LoadRunner and/or Radview Webload.
- Prior experience working with remote teams.
- Excellent problem analysis
- Proven customer and relationship management experience.
- Communication skill
- Flexibility to travel to Boston, US as required.
- Agile methodology
- Knowledge of web technologies, Client Server, .NET and database systems.
- Experience Scripting web applications.
- Knowledge of UNIX, Linux, AIX and MS Windows Operating systems.
- Web Service, Application Server and Database Server tuning expertise - Tomcat, WebSphere, and Oracle.
- Prior experience evaluating HEAP/Memory issues and environment capacity problems.
