PERFORMANCE SOFTWARE TESTER, CONTRACT 6 MONTHS, DUBLIN

Are you seeking a new challenging position?

Vantage Resources require an experience performance tester for a role in Dublin city centre with a consultancy client.

As a tester you will have the subject matter expertise to help the team development a test strategy to ensure the successful deliver of the solution to the business. You will be working in a multi tiered environment and have experience with Microsoft and .NET related technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Managing all aspects of testing from planning to implementing and executing
Working with the business teams to ensure all aspects are tested
Planning and implementing the test phases
Preparation and execution of test plans
Resolution of test issues

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Extensive technical (performance, load, stress, soak) test experience in multi-tier enterprise scale applications
Windows Server 2003, 2008, XP, 7
Linux (Redhat)
HP (Mercury) Loadrunner and Quick Test Pro
Shunra Virtual Enterprise Appliances and Software
Oracle
Web Technologies (IIS, ASP.NET)
SQL Server
Microsoft.NET
Silverlight
Visual Studio Team Foundation Server 2010
Experience test script design, preparation and execution

Competitive daily rates are on offer for the right candidate. The initial contract is for 6 months but there is the strong possibility of renewal.
