Performance Engineer Job

PERFORMANCE ENGINEER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in San Ramon, CA.

Top Skills You Should Possess:
- Performance testing
- Load-testing tool like HP LoadRunner/JMeter
- Monitoring, tuning Java applications
- Operating and database concepts

What You'll Be Doing
- Build an automated test suite to measure product performance using HP Loadrunner and other tools
- Define and execute the scenarios (Load/Stress/Performance) to reflect the KPIs captured.
- Analyze the results of the performance scenarios
- Work with a 5-9 member team through the agile development cycle.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from an accredited institute.
- Minimum five (5) years of work experience with performance testing
- Ability to use a load-testing tool like HP LoadRunner/JMeter to simulate load on system.
- Knowledge of monitoring and tuning JAVA applications
- Knowledge of Operating System Concepts - Linux and Windows
- Knowledge of Database Concepts - Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL

Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred Qualifications:
- JAVA profiling
- Database tuning and profiling
- Strong knowledge of a Scripting language
