PERFORMANCE ENGINEER (C#, SQL SERVER, WCF, .NET) - BRUSSELS, BELGIUM - ENGLISH SPEAKING - 3-4 MONTHS+
blue chip client is urgently looking for a Performance Engineer
Job Description: Experienced, hands-on and autonomous Performance Engineer to perform the end-to-end performance profiling and tuning of 23 batch applications (.NET/C# technologies running on MS SQL server DB) that process high volumes of data.
These batches are currently facing a number of issues that need to be investigated and resolved by the performance engineer:
- out of memory issues --> improve memory management
- unacceptably long processing times --> tune the application code and DB queries
- batches are not restartable/resumable after failure --> proper checkpoint/restart to be implemented
- single thread processing --> options for parallel processing must be investigated and implemented
Resource must be senior enough to drive the resolution from start to end (not waiting for instructions). Resource must be hands-on and familiar with:
1. Experience on Memory analysis + CPU analysis + Monitoring
2. Expertise in tool usage like your kit/ANTS profiler, SQL Server profiler, dyna Trace etc.
3. Exposure to APM - Application Performance Management tool
4. troubleshooting and Coding experience in C#, SQL Server, WCF hands on coding experience
