Performance Engineer

My Brussels based financial client is urgently looking for 2 x Performance Engineers, for immediate starts.

- To analyze Business (Performance) Non-Functional Requirements, Architecture, Capacity
- Planning requirements and Production monitoring data (including incidents and problems) to plan, design, develop, execute and analysis of Performance tests.
- Provide Performance Test Results to initiate corrective action steps for Capacity Planning team.
- Supports IT in analysing and resolving performance issues/bottlenecks.
- Feedback on customer performance requirements and contributes to the Solution Design.
- Analyze (application and infrastructure) assets performance.
- Recommend efficient collection mechanisms and analysis of production (profiling) performance data.
- System performance and stability tuning and optimisation recommendations
- Develop/update Performance Engineering & Test Plans to identify potential bottlenecks and system performance problems and specific features to be tested for performance enhancement and/or validation.
- Analyse and report Performance Test Results.
- Ensure the compatibility of all Solution platform components, configurations and their upgrade levels in production and advice on the necessary changes to the Performance Test Environment to match production as much as possible for maximum validity
- Facilitate Performance findings and discussions.

- Scheduling of performance test execution HP LoadRunner ITIL v 3 Foundation Capacity Management Performance Engineering Architecture Design Performance Testing White Box testing

Functional experience required

- Extract non-functional requirements and ensure adequate coverage
- Review of Performance related Project documentation
- Document Performance test types, scenarios, scripts
- Design test scripts
- Develop test scripts
- Create and/or define Performance test data
- Recording Performance defects in Quality Centre
- Retest after Defect Fixes/Performance Tuning a Monitoring of Performance test runs via Performance tools
- Aalysis of Performance test results
