THIS POSITION IS FIXED TERM UNTIL THE END OF MARCH 2014 WITH THE POTENTIAL TO GO PERMANENT BASED UPON THE CANDIDATE'S PERFORMANCE

Our client is a locally based housing company set up to meet existing and future housing needs of people in the West Devon area.

They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Performance Coordinator to join their team based in Tavistock.

The key responsibilities of this role will be to promote and provide support to the company's performance management and improvement function.

Within this role your main responsibilities will include assisting in the development, maintenance and promotion of an effective performance management system, assisting in the cleaning and analysis of data and production of accurate reporting data and routinely assessing and testing reporting mechanisms to ensure reliability and validity. You will also be expected to support service teams in the development and use of internal controls, support the production of performance indicators, benchmarking, risk and action plan reports and provide training, support and documented guidance to colleagues to ensure the effective use of the company's performance management tools.

The successful candidate will be educated to A Level standard (or equivalent) as a minimum and will be a highly confident and proficient IT user with strong analytical skills.

It is essential that you have experience of using databases and spreadsheets, calculating and reporting performance statistics and that you can carry out all tasks with a high degree of accuracy, even when working to strict deadlines and when under pressure. Driven and forward thinking, you will thrive when working in a fast paced environment and you will have an understanding of how to interrogate and manipulate data sets. Our client is seeking a customer focussed individual who has a positive attitude towards change and can work effectively with colleagues across all levels.
