Performance and Emissions Documentation Engineer

Provides the engine performance and emissions documentation required to build and sell new and modified engine arrangements.

THIS JOB ENCOMPASSES 6 MAJOR ELEMENTS:

- Work with a multi-functional team including Logistics, Engineering, Engine Development and Customer Electronics to plan implementation of engine performance related changes into the factory.
- Create production end-of-line test specifications for assigned engine families.
- Provide exhaust emissions matrices and explanation cover letters to the Certification Engineers.
- Provide performance and emissions related data to the system.
- Help resolve situations where engines do not perform according to specification in the factory hot test cell.
- Provide performance and emissions data per Customer dealer and customer requests.

REQUIRED:

- A Mechanical Engineering degree is a requirement for this job.
- Entry-level requirements include a Bachelors degree plus at least 3 years experience in a technical area such as Engineering, Engine Performance Development, or Performance Component Development.
- Broad computer skills are required to work effectively with diverse information systems including EDS/Product Releasing Workbench, EngPerf, AIDB, Common Test, CDM, and TMI for grief resolution and Model Year Roll-over tasks.
- Familiarity with engine performance measurements and exhaust emissions regulations is required.
