Performance Analyst - Fund Management - Start-UP

My client, an exciting financial technology start-up, is looking for a Performance Analyst to join their team in London. This position can be either Contract or Permanent.

Be part of the original team in this very exciting start-up, where you can apply your performance analysis and quant skills to transforming the fund management industry by making fund managers better at their jobs.

This role involves re-defining performance analysis to include behavioural data, so is best suited to someone who is passionate about behavioural finance.

Desired Skills & Experience
The right person for this job will:

*Have done performance analysis for a hedge fund with multiple managers and strategies (including equities)
*Understand the intricacies of trade and position data (handling of corporate actions, etc), ideally from having experience in the middle/back office of a hedge fund
*Strong Excel skills
*Good database architecture skills

You'll also be someone who is:

*Excited by the opportunity to break new ground and the prospect of changing the way an industry works
*Comfortable operating in a start-up environment (ie. without infrastructure, with an appetite for risk)
*Communicative and team-oriented, with good listening skills
*Keen to learn and develop to your potential
