What is the purpose of the role?The role of a Performance Analyst is to provide analysis and insight into Thames Waters operational performance, and performance against customer satisfaction measures. You would be liaising between teams to understand detailed root cause analysis required to understand trends in performance. This insight is essential to enabling better customer service and ensuring continuous improvement.What makes this role unique?This is an excellent opportunity for a Performance Analyst to be a part of a massive drive at Thames Water to improve Customer Satisfaction scores. This role will involve rigorous data analysis to provide vital insight to Continuous Improvement teams.What will this role involve?This role will involve: Analysing field performance metrics and understand trends. Providing feedback to Field Managers. Analysing customer satisfaction data, perform detailed root cause analysis on trends and identify actions required by liaising with various functions within the business and interrogating information available in our systems. Using Create weekly reports on customer data and complaint performance mapped to change initiatives. Using customer complaint reports to understand trends in root cause failures that can be linked back into field services. The delivery of small scale continuous improvement projects and ensuring the sustainability of change.What are we looking for?You will have excellent MS Excel and strong analytical and problem solving skills to perform this role successfully. We are looking for an individual who can work under pressure and have excellent communication and organisational skills and ability to drive actions. You will be self-driven, with ability to manage workflow and expectations.Thames Water information and salary detailsThis role is based at Epsom Water Treatment Works, Surrey. We are offering a salary of £20,000 to £24,000, depending on experience. Please note, this is a 6 month fixed term contract.About Thames WaterThames Water is the UKs biggest water and sewerage company. We already self-generate enough electricity to power a city the size of Oxford, but by 2020 we expect 20 per cent of our power will come from sewage. We also built the UKs first sewage recycling plant on the Olympic Park and understand the importance of speaking to our youngest customers by visiting them at school.We will not compromise on standards which is why we carry out more than 400,000 tests per year on our drinking water. We continue to invest and this year will be spending more than £1 billion to improve our network and infrastructure - our pipes, sewage treatment and clean water treatment plants, which are some of the biggest and most advanced in Europe.Above all this, Thames Water values its staff as number one.
