Peoplesoft IT Project Manager

Link Technologies is currently looking for a PeopleSoft IT Project Manager for an 11-month contract position in Syracuse, NY. Please apply immediately if you are looking for a great project!

REQUIREMENTS

- 10 - 12 years strong IT background that includes IT project management and PeopleSoft ERP experience in the Public Sector, preferably with City and County governments.
- PMP Certified Project Manager.
- Familiarity with Hyperion Budgeting and Planning so as to be able to manage this component of the implementation.
- Experience managing PeopleSoft implementations that include Financials and Procurement; experience with release 9.1, PeopleTools 8.5x. (Specific modules for this implementation are GL, FA, AP, AR, Billing, PO, ePRO).
- Expertise with Microsoft Project, MS 2010.
- Expertise with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio.
- Expertise with planning projects and developing project timelines based on time and cost estimates and an implementation methodology.
- Willing and able to travel 100% of time to client site, and will work 4 onsite ten hour days, Monday thru Thursday.
- Application of appropriate practices, methodologies, and tools to facilitate project management; establish and utilize project controls and communications project progress.
- Application of interpersonal skills to build client and project team relationships.
- Manage scope, risk, and quality; monitor schedule and track results.
- Effective communications at all stakeholder levels including interviewing, meeting facilitation, and presentations.
- Building relationships with client stakeholders at all levels.
- Effective and persuasive written communications.
- Collaborative.
