This is an 8 month contract opportunity. Overview
Our Client is seeking two PeopleSoft HCM (Human Capital Management) Technical Analysts to assist with PeopleSoft HCM 9.1 projects.
Assistance is needed for both project and enhancement work in each of the following functional areas:
- Human Resources
- Benefits and Pensions
- Recruiting
- Payroll
- Time & Labour.
The consultant(s) will have the ability to complete all software development work associated to the prioritized projects/enhancements. The consultant(s) will work closely within project teams to successfully complete all work. Role and Responsibilities
- To work as a member of the technical team responsible for all development associated to the PeopleSoft HCM 9.1
- To work with functional and technical resources to ensure all development is tested thoroughly.
Project Deliverables will include:
- Technical Design Documentation
- Software (Application/Reports/Interfaces) Development
- System Testing and Technical issue resolution.
Qualifications
Required Skills
- PeopleSoft HCM experience with strong knowledge of the HCM application and processes.
- In depth knowledge of PeopleTools development, PeopleCode, Workflow, SQR, Application Engine, Data Mover, Integration Broker and Component Interface.
- Good understanding of the technical tools used in the PeopleSoft environment, including new features available with PeopleTools 8.52.
- Strong Analytical and design skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with business and functional resources to develop sustainable business solutions.
- Ability to document technical specifications.
- Application Development experience.
- Report Development (XML publisher, Crystal Reports, SQR, queries) experience.
- Interface Development experience.
- Testing experience during all system and end user testing, including issue analysis and resolution.
Desired Skills:
- Previous experience with software development in a PeopleSoft 9.1 environment.
- Previous experience with PeopleSoft Interaction HUB or Portal.
