Peoplesoft GL Technical Developer

PEOPLESOFT GL DEVELOPER GLOBAL FINANCIAL SYSTEMS

Our global client based in the Netherlands is looking for a PeopleSoft GL technical developer. This developer will be responsible for project work and third line support for Peoplesoft GL and other related applications.

You will develop changes requested to the Global Financial System for the PeopleSoft General Ledger (PeopleSoft Application version 9.2/PeopleTools version 8.54).

In particular you will:

- Contribute towards the design
- Create technical specifications
- Construct and execute unit test packs from those specifications
- Develop specified solutions in PeopleSoft using Application Designer, PeopleTools (PeopleCode, Application Engine), SQR/SQL
- Provide third line support for issues raised in the test and production environments
- Work very closely with the business, business analysts, other developers and testers in your team and across the GFS group
- Provide advice on how to test new developments

YOUR PROFILE

To operate in a successful way we expect:

- 5+ years experience in development and maintenance of PeopleSoft GL
- In depth knowledge of, and experience with regard to, creating complex custom application engines and pages, including PeopleCode and SQL
- Functional knowledge of core PeopleSoft set up required (ledgers, chartfields, security and journal processing)
- Experience with regard to, or knowledge of, PeopleSoft Workflow/Approval Framework
- Programming experience on leading RDBMS, preferably Oracle
- Experience with SQL and SQL Loader and technical design
