Job Summary - This 12 + month contract opportunity is for a PeopleSoft Financials role within a government sector.  The individual in this role will primarily be responsible for the following:

PROJECT BACKGROUND:

- Provide knowledge transfer and mentoring services in application development and system administration for PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain Management System (FSCM) and the newly implemented eProcurement module and internal workflows.
- Take a lead role in mentoring Staff in executing PeopleSoft support activities as well as troubleshooting and fixing system defects. Apply their experience working with Governmental Accounting Systems to support eProcurement stabilization and ongoing maintenance and operations activities.

The consultant will perform in the lead capacity in the execution of knowledge to technical staff:

- Perform knowledge transfer in executing activities related to the Support and maintenance of the PeopleSoft FSCM applications and architecture to application developers
- Perform knowledge transfer in troubleshooting objects using PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQL, PL/SQL, SQR, EDI Manager, integration technologies, XML Publisher and Crystal Reports in support of eProcurement customizations to application developers
- Perform knowledge transfer to support Supply Chain Workflow, Component Interface, Business Interlinks, Integration Broker, File Layouts as well as all other aspects of programming and development.
- Support and maintain integration between the requisition, purchasing and financial modules to application developers

The consultant will perform in the lead capacity in the execution of mentoring to functional analysts and program users:

- Troubleshoot program area process issues
- Mentor program user staff and functional analysts in the configuration of the eProcurement module to meet business requirements
- Act as the consulting expert in the eProcurement functionality and newly implemented workflows

The consultant will provide support of the PeopleSoft FSCM in the following capacity:

- Support PeopleSoft enhancements, including the daily batch cycle
- Support all customizations including interfaces for PeopleSoft Financials and HRMS
- Support and maintain objects using PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQL, PL/SQL, SQR, EDI Manager, integration technologies, Crystal Reports, and .pdf rendering
- Support the SQL and PIA components
- Perform support-related activities on an as needed basis to be determined by his/her Data Processing Manager II

PROJECT SCOPE/TASKS

- The scope of this project encompasses the following tasks mentioned above as well as these:
- Develop a knowledge transfer/training plan
- Develop a knowledge transfer/training schedule
- Execute knowledge transfer to organizations application developers
- Mentor technical analysts and program user staff
- Produce Job Aids that will guide the module lead(s) in the execution of more complex system configurations
- Transfer eProcurement project artifacts into ITSB production support for use by application developers
- Submit Monthly timesheets
- Attend Weekly project, staff, and management meetings as required
- Mentor Staff in activities related to the support and maintenance of the PeopleSoft Financials and HRMS applications and architecture
- Support and maintain integration between PeopleSoft FSCM modules
- Troubleshoot program area process issues

KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER

- Act as a PeopleSoft Technical Subject Matter Expert, and will perform knowledge transfer of the newly implemented eProcurement functionality to application developers, and mentor functional analyst and program users to perform analytical support, incident triage and support of daily business requirements.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

- Minimum of 8 years development experience with PeopleSoft Financials' and HRMS
- Minimum of 5 years' experience using and tuning Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
- Minimum of 5 years development experience using Application Engine, SQR, PeopleCode, XML Publisher and Crystal Reports
- The consultant must be proficient with SOA concepts and Web-Service development and integration.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Knowledge of the Client's PeopleSoft eProcurement module and internal workflows
