Peoplesoft Financials Consultant

Job Description:

We are starting a new Financials implementation at an industry leading international company and are looking for a PeopleSoft Financial GL/BI/AR/CA/PC/PB Team Leader. We are in need of a candidate who is proficient with PeopleSoft GL/BI/AR/CA/PC/PB. This position will involve identifying and gathering client business needs, working with the delivery team on providing well-thought out and customer benefiting solutions, creating functional documentation, such as, functional designs, work with the technical team in creating technical design documents, client meeting agenda/notes, tracking work product tasks and outcomes; assisting PM in tracking milestones.

Position involves potential travel to Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, and Japan

We are transforming from a traditional internal IT organization oriented to domestic administrative and technical support to a more strategic role within the client Group through the Global IM organization. You will be a key part of the realization of this transformation providing overall guidance, structure and authority for the creation and maintenance of a Middle Office solution. You will report to a Functional Team Lead in Japan.

Main Responsibilities:

Requirements/Fit Analysis - GL/BI/AR/CA/PC/PB

Assisting with Training Plan - GL/BI/AR/CA/PC/PB

System Design and Configuration - GL/BI/AR/CA/PC/PB

Assisting with Testing Content - GL/BI/AR/CA/PC/PB

Required Skills:

6+ years proven track record in implementing Oracle Enterprise PeopleSoft financial software with a focus in General Ledger, Billing and Accounts Receivable

Experience with Oracle Enterprise PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain Management Rel 9.1; PeopleTools 8.5x preferred

Candidate must possess referable work in GL, AR, PB, CA, PC and BI modules

Experience with PeopleSoft AP and AM is a plus

Able to support Project Manager with overall project deliverables as they relate to GL, AR, PB, CA, PC and BI.

Experience planning and conducting Fit/Gap sessions; documenting sessions, assisting with preparation of final report

Required Language:

Candidate must be able to speak and write in English.

Japanese capability is a plus.
