Peoplesoft Developer - HRMS/Peopletools/AWE - Contract

Nomura International currently seek a PeopleSoft Developer with extensive experience of HRMS and PeopleTools. Reporting to the Head of Global HRIS, the successful candidate will join the project team focusing on the development of Manager Self-Service (MSS) functionality. The successful candidate will be based in London, but may have regular interaction with members of the HR IT and HR teams in all regions and at all levels within the firm.

The role has a number of key facets;

- Engage with HR and HRIT functional leads to design and drive the development of a reusable architecture for MSS transactions.
- Develop, test and document system enhancements to the PeopleSoft HRMS system to implement and roll-out MSS functionality.
- Manage transition of project knowledge to the HRIT Support team.
- Ensure that cross-project and technology dependencies are understood and flagged.

Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required

Required Technical Skills:

- Commercial experience with PeopleSoft HRMS and recent PeopleTools (8.4x +) development knowledge.
- Commercial experience with SQL (preferably on an MS SQL Server platform).
- Experience with traditional PeopleSoft workflow or Approval Workflow Engine (AWE).
- Experience in developing new MSS transactions in PeopleSoft HRMS.
- Strong systems analysis skills and ability to objectively evaluate and challenge requirements in light of any technical approaches/solutions.
- Sound understanding of core HR processes.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

- Self-starting and self-motivated individual with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Experience of working in a global team.
- Good communication skills (both written & oral).
- Good team player.

Useful Experience:

- PeopleSoft portal product and integration with PeopleSoft HRMS.
- Experience of integrating PeopleSoft HRMS with other systems, preferably in a J2EE environment.
- Knowledge of jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, DOM manipulation.
- User interface design.

Successful candidates will be engaged under a contract for services by Resource Solutions.
