Description:
Responsible for identifying and documenting business processes through interviewing clients and reviewing and analysing existing systems and processes. Articulates interrelationships and recasts business flow into system specifications. Conducts gap analysis to document discrepancies between business requirements and system capabilities. May develop project plans and ensure plan adherence. As system development progresses, may have input into reporting requirements/report development, user interfaces, and coordinate UAT and the final evaluation of the system solutions. Serve as liaison between line business (client) and the IT organization.
Essential Functions:
Requirements definition and analysis: collects and researches specific client requirements for projects, identifies requirements, gathers workflow data and basic system and reporting specifications. Develops, implements, and supports common business processes and tools. Recommends basic alternatives to address problems.
Project planning and execution: participates in project management process, including participating in project meetings. May document issues, action items, user requirements, or deliverables from project meetings. Performs a variety of project related activities, including analysis or preparation of documentations and presentations. Accomplishes all work within established methodologies and standards
Business Owner/Application support: Provides 2nd and 3rd tier application support for assigned application(s). Researches and resolves technical and functional issues according to defined prioritization/severity scheme. Influences client and gains commitment to changes required.
Business and Process Improvement: Identifies opportunities for business or process improvement; makes associated recommendations and implements as appropriate.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources Administration, Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Business Administration or related field or 4 additional years of equivalent experience required.
A minimum of five (5) years of experience in PeopleSoft HCM key functionalities in HR, Base Benefits, Benefit Administration, ESS, MSS, ePerformance and North American Payroll modules.
A minimum of five (5) years of experience in PeopleSoft Query and or WinSQL.
Advance skills in Microsoft Access and Excel.
Extensive report development and data extraction from PeopleSoft HCM.
Very strong analytic and critical thinking, writing, communication skills.
Complete understanding and application of concepts, techniques and standards in general HR and business analysis, as well as IT principles and practices.
Requires analysis skills/documentation of processes, methods, solutions, etc.
Interpretive - translates business processes and requirements into system specifications.
Proficient in other Microsoft Office tools including; Powerpoint, Word, Project Management.
Three years programming in SAS is a plus.
Prior HR or Benefits experience in a reporting data/extract transaction production support environment.
Ability to express complex analytical and technical information to business clients.
Must be an independent self starter.
Minimum number of years of experience required
A minimum of five (5) years of experience in PeopleSoft HCM key functionalities in HR, Base Benefits, Benefit Administration, ESS, MSS, e-Performance and North American Payroll modules.
A minimum of five (5) years of experience in PeopleSoft Query and or WinSQL.

Provide data extract services to HR initiative projects
Provide HR data consultation to business clients that are non-HR

PS Query is a must
Poficient in other Microsoft Office tools including; Powerpoint, Word, Project Management.
