PEOPLESOFT ANALYST - HR AND PAYROLL IT
On behalf of my client who is a Global System Integrator with a t/o in excess of $6bn and presence in over 31 countries, GIOS Technology are supporting them at a local level for a Peoplesoft Analyst.
Job Description
TO UNDERSTAND CLIENT BUSINESS REQUIREMENT AND PROPOSE SOLUTIONS WHICH MEETS CUSTOMER NEED.
(1.) To analyze customer process need in implementation engagement and provide solution to meet business objective
(2.) To coordinate with technical teams for pending RICEFs
(3.) To interact with the client and other functional teams for gaining understanding of the requirements (4.) To participate in team meetings
(5.) To train others and prepare and deliver presentations for knowledge sharing amongst different teams in the project

PeopleSoft Global Payroll Analysis and development.
PeopleSoft Global Payroll IT production support
PeopleSoft HR and Payroll
Key Task and Responsibilities
The consultant is expected to carry out analysis and support day-to-day PeopleSoft Global Payroll IT production activities, advice changes to be made to the system.
The consultant also needs to advice and support payroll functional team on Global Payroll IT matters.
The consultant is therefore expected to have full technical knowledge of the PeopleSoft IT system which supports HR and Payroll and needs to get well versed in internal HR system quickly.
The consultant needs to manage the monthly payroll production activities, also expected to oversee and manage critical year end data reconciliation activities involving third parties, namely, the UN Joint Staff Pension Fund, US Income Tax Unit, Medical Insurance.
The consultant is expected to participate in the development of IT projects involving Payroll and HR.
Project Deliverables
Developing ad hoc Payroll/HR related queries.
Work with the Payroll unit for smooth functioning of monthly Payroll production activities (ie salary payments).
Identify and resolve Global Payroll production related issues upon conducting thorough, written analysis of the problem. Resolve IT related errors to finalize payroll.
Timely processing of the staff members' salaries.
