We are Telefonica. You'll know us as O2. We're part of one of the biggest communications businesses in the world. And we're continuously evolving. Helping to shape the future in a changing world. With a team of over 250,000 people across 25 countries, there are no limits to your horizon.

Right now, our business is changing. And HR is at the forefront, helping our people adapt. We've introduced a brand new HR Operating Model with a single Pan-European team. With your help, we can deliver a Telefonica employee experience that's second to none.

In this key role, you'll see that change programmes affecting our people in the UK and Europe are expertly handled. You'll also support the development and implementation of people change policies, so that our team's needs are always met, even during periods of transformation.

You'll be working in a fast-paced environment where change happens quickly. It's therefore important that you're an HR generalist with experience in people change. You'll have introduced change projects before and given expert advice on everything from redundancy and restructure, to TUPE and volume shift changes. You also understand change-related HR policy, processes and employment law. Some experience of mergers and acquisitions, organisational design and joint ventures from a consultancy background would also come in handy as well as building relationships with key stakeholders and influencing at a senior level.

As a person, you are hands-on and work on an operational level. You can coach, consult, project manage and shape innovative HR solutions as well as lead others. With strong interpersonal skills and an eye for detail, you'll be CIPD-qualified and committed to teamwork.

The essentials:

- HR generalist with experience in people change
- Some experience of mergers and acquisitions, organisational design, redundancies, joint ventures and TUPE in and out ideally gained in a consultancy environment
- Hands-on and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

In return for your efforts, you'll be rewarded in typical Telefonica style: A competitive salary and benefits that you get to choose, including our cycle to work scheme, carbon offsetting, flexible working and childcare vouchers. Great news if you've got little ones or other family commitments, or if want to be more green. And of course you can expect support, recognition and the chance to progress with us.
