Our Kent based Pensions client are urgently searching for 2 x Data Analysts to add to their team.

You will be reporting to the Operations Team Leader and be hired on a rolling contract with the opportunity to extend or go permanent.

Experience in Life/Pensions/Employee Benefits would be very advantageous for this position.

The Data Analyst (Operations) will manage all data uploads and data outputs between the Client, Pension and Risk Providers and BenPal. In conjunction with the Administration and Team Supervisors managed the receipt and validation of all data upload and the resolution of data discrepancies. Work with the Sales, Implementation and Customer Contact Centre to provide integrated Client Service Delivery standards.

Job Summary:

Key responsibilities include:
Manage the data uploads and data outputs to and from the BenPal system including the processing of client and/or pension/provider data.
Assess validation reports and work with the Administration/Team Supervisor to resolve data discrepancies/issues.
Ensure that all data placed in the Secure File Transfer (SFT) environment is uploaded into BenPal in accordance with the client specification.
Monitor all data uploads to ensure receipt in accordance with the client specification and where not, escalate to the Team Supervisor.
Assist the Administration/Team Supervisor with payroll and client communication processing.
Work with the Sales, Implementation and Customer Contract Centre to resolve Client/Member issues and provide Management Information/Governance data as required.
Assist Implementation Team with setup and configuration of client data requirements, including initial data cleansing and mapping the data management process for new clients
Interface with the BenPal Development and Application Support Teams for future development of BenPal and to raise functionality issues.
Work with the BenPal Test Team to conduct internal testing of all data interfaces with the Client and/or pension and risk provider. Specifically assisting with the testing of bespoke data and payroll files to ensure accuracy.
Set up and testing of external interfaces to the client including SFTP
Assist the BenPal Test Team with definition and test scripts/execution as part of the development of new BenPal features

Qualifications and Experience:

The candidate should be highly numerate and logical, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft tools (Word, Excel and Outlook) and able work on multiple tasks/projects against tight deadlines.

Essential:
MS Word and Outlook experience
Advanced MS Excel experience
Data transformation and validation/resolution skills
Organisational skills
Communication and presentation skills (oral and written)
A team player who can also work on your own initiative when required

Desirable:
An understanding of Employee Benefits (Pension- Auto Enrolment), Risk/Heath and Flexible benefits.
Previous experience of working with Employee Benefits software with a Provider and/or Employee Benefits Consultancy.
Previous experience of Microsoft Visual Studio 2003, 2005 or 2008
Experience with XML, XSLT and HTML.
