Pensions Administrator: World Leading Global Energy Oil Company

PENSIONS ADMINISTRATOR/DATA ANALYST

World Leading Global Energy Oil Company has an exciting opportunity for two Pensions Administrators/Data Analysts to join a team of 5 working on a Guaranteed Minimum Pension GMP reconciliation project.

SPECIFIC DUTIES INCLUDE:

- Reviewing member records (in the form of microfiche, paper and computerised files)
- Where necessary scanning member records in to the electronic document manager
- Reconciling data from those records against DWP returns
- Raising queries with DWP on data MIS-matches
- Correcting data as necessary
- Manually calculating GMPs for completeness

The team comprises of the Team Lead, a core team of 3 (working on departmental data and projects), and 1 temporary member staff who is already working on the GMP project.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

You need at least three years experience including working within a Pensions administrator role previously, ideally combined with a good understanding of GMPs, preferably with some experience in working on data cleansing projects.

- Compendia system and Shared Workspace would be preferable but not essential.
- Committed, adaptable with strong communication skills and teamwork skills.
- Good analytical skills and computer skills with an inquiring mind.
- Strong technical skills.

This needs combining with a positive attitude and an ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment. You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
