Tasks

- Postal duties
- Opening post
- Scanning and allocating tasks on Altair
- Management of the UK Pensions email inbox (responding to queries straight away if possible, or scanning and creating tasks if not)
- Identifying same day pay critical tasks and raising them at the daily meeting
- Telephone queries
- Processing same day non pay critical tasks
- Address changes
- Bank changes
- Acknowledge and return original certificates
- Password resets
- GMP tasks
- Nomination forms
- Retirement set-up front sheets
- Deaths with no widows
- Scanning of completed work and allocating to Altair
- Update spreadsheet logs to track deaths, issues, correspondence etc

Required experience

- Familiar with Microsoft Office and proficient in MS Word
- Good organisational skills
- Used to working to deadlines and prioritising work
- Good English and letter writing skills
- Good level of computer literacy
- Good customer service skills

Previous experience of working in a fast-paced pension administration team would be advantageous.
