PENSION ADMINISTRATOR - SHEFFIELD - 9-12 MONTH FIXED-TERM CONTRACT

We are to recruit a PENSIONS ADMINISTRATOR into our team in Sheffield on an initial 9 month contract. The purpose of the role is to work within the team to process events for the scheme members and their dependants in line with service level agreements, providing optimum levels of customer service to the client in terms of quality cost and time.

Key duties and responsibilities include:

- To create and maintain consistent and accurate scheme records using the appropriate systems.
- To provide excellent customer service to all clients, members and third parties.
- To complete all tasks using best practice, to the required quality standards.
- To respond to all correspondence (both telephone and written) in a substantive manner within the agreed time limits.
- To participate in and promote good team communication, working actively towards the overall team goals.
- Process complaints at the earliest opportunity with a positive attitude, addressing the true root cause and implementing effective corrective action in order to prevent re-occurrence.
- Identify and escalate risks and breaches immediately to the appropriate party.
- Adhere to the ISO and Investors in People Standards, Quality Management System and comply with pensions and FSA regulations and initiatives, for example, Treating Customers Fairly (TCF).

To be considered for a role as PENSIONS ADMINISTRATOR with us, you must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to establish strong working relationships with clients and staff.
- Must have knowledge of the workings of Defined Benefit/Contribution Schemes.
- Adaptable to varying demands and workloads.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Target driven and self-motivated with an innovative approach to process development.
- Good computer literacy and a proven ability to pick up new skills and software quickly.

In addition, the following would be highly beneficial to your application:

- Previous Pension Administration experience.
- High level of numeracy.
