My client, a leading technology company, has a 6 month rolling contract based in Amsterdam for a penetration tester. The penetration tester will have good experience in testing security vulnerabilities in areas such as computers, applications, network and the web.

The penetration tester will have a very good understanding of industry guidelines and best practices like OWASP, SANS or CIS processes. The penetration tester will know how to perform vulnerability assessments, audits and will be presenting reports to management and alongside this the penetration tester will also suggest measures to control the risks.

Key skills and responsibilities for the ethical hacker/penetration tester

*3-5 years of industry experience
*Hands on exposure on vulnerability assessment and penetration testing.
*Proficient in using VAPT tools like Nessus, Metasploit, SAINT etc.
*Creation of VAPT reports presenting it and recommend control to mitigate risk.
*Advanced knowledge of information security and computer network access technologies.
*Good knowledge of Operating Systems, Networks and Web Application.
*Understanding of process. OWASP, SANS and CIS guidelines.
*Certificate like CEH/OSCP/CISSP desirable.
*Performing VAPT and preparing gap reports.
*Presenting the report to management and suggesting controls to mitigate the risk.
*Performing Audit on Networks, Os and Application to verify whether they comply with Industry guidelines like
*Owasp, SANS, CIS guidelines.
*Keeping up to date with new security technologies and vulnerabilities.
*Should be able to interface with internal/external customers and manage expectations.
