PROJECT MANAGER (PEGA)

A Project Manager (Pega) is urgently required for a long-term, lucrative freelance assignment with a market leading client based in Brussels.

The client is looking for a "hands-on" project leader, who is able to manage a PEGA scrum project.

The Project Manager (Pega) will be working from start to finish on each project and must be able to ensure compliance with Pega best-practises, it is therefore essential to understand all aspects of the system, from both business and technical points of view. The client is not looking for PMO profile.

The Project Manager (Pega) will IDEALLY have 70%+ of the following skills and experience:

- Very strong experience with the Pega platform
- Very strong experience as project management
- Scrum and relevant project management certifications
- Experience in architecture/design of packaged applications
- Proven experience in offshore deliveries and Scrum engagements
- Knowledge of basic IT principles (system integration, data management, File Transfer, ETL, networking etc)
- MS Office
- Customer minded
- Proactive and able to think out of the box
- Good organizational skills and the capacity to work autonomously;
- Able to build constructive relationships with all stakeholders
- Good analytical skills
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- You are able to write and complete documents in a clear/structured way
- English speaker, French and/or Dutch speakers strongly preferred
- Must be eligible to work in Belgium

The Project Manager (Pega) will be responsible for activities including:

- Lead the implementation of the Know-Your-Customer project under the PEGA platform, following the SCRUM methodology
- Define the overall project governance and organisation, the deliverable scope and the associated responsibilities, together with the Product Owner;
- Oversee the business, technical, organizational, management and financial aspects of the project, ensuring that the project remains under control and reaches its Business objectives
- Regularly report project progress at all levels, including Product Owner, senior management and sponsor/client;
- Coordinate a team of outsourced specialists (including the Scrumaster) to implement project tasks.
- Coordinate internal IT team in charge of the development of the Back End services
- Coordinate internal infrastructure team to ensure delivery of all required components
- Manage contracts with the external suppliers with the support of Corporate Procurement
- Ensure that the approach taken by the external providers is as per PEGA best practices
- Manage projects using stable project management processes, strategy and frameworks;
- Assist Product Owner to gain organisational buy-in where required; maintains and follows-up throughout the project;
- Able to autonomously deal with tensions and disputes where required.
- Prepare the second PEGA pilot project (Case management), so defining timeframe, budget, procedures for accomplishing the project, staffing requirements and support the Business with the preparation;
- Provide support in the setup of the client's PEGA Centre of Excellence
