Pega Developer

Capgemini Financial Services requires an experienced PEGA CERTIFIED Developer with strong Technical delivery and pre-sales skills in the area of BUSINESS PROCESS MANAGEMENT, CRM and Mobile technologies, in the Financial Services Sector.

The candidate will apply their BANKING, INSURANCE AND/OR CAPITAL MARKET INDUSTRY EXPERTISE to help our clients provide a superior sales and service experience, to their customers, across all channels of interactions and help their staff collaborate efficiently from the front to the Back Office. This candidate will be able to engage with business and IT stakeholders and articulate requirements to feed into strategic business change solutions, will be part of agile delivery teams and will drive proof of concepts, project streams or large business process transformation programmes.

The Systems Architect will primarily get involved in Business Process Reengineering and Digital Transformation programmes of work involving one or several of our technology partners (including and not limited to Pega, IBM, Salesforce.com, Oracle). He/She will join the Global Digital Transformation Solutions Practice which focuses on customer centric transformations in the Financial Services Sector.

The range of activities that the SYSTEMS ARCHITECT gets involved with is extensive and includes:

- Extensive IT experience in analysis, development, implementation and support of business applications using Pega/PRPC
- Many years of Experience in Integration of Pega applications to other technologies using SQL, MQ, JMS, File Service, LDAP, DB2/Mainframe and Oracle.
- Experience in various rules and features like Flows, Activities, User Interface, Flow Actions, Agents, SLA, Correspondence, Single-Sign-On, External Authentication, PRPC Security, Reports, Listeners (File, MQ), Connectors and SOAP Services etc
- Experience in full PRPC implementation cycle including enterprise Class Structure design and Rule sets design
- Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with application quality, coding, UI and Corporate standards, including review alert logs, running pre-flight and PAL.
- Enforce best practices in PEGA architecture/design/coding
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Ability to work and communicate effectively with programmers and other IT staff and non-IT functional areas
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of RDBMS, preferably DB2
- Familiarity with data network architecture, operation and support
- Strong communication, problem-solving and leadership skills
- Experience in Pega Frameworks is highly desirable
- Possess a broad understanding of company business issues and concepts and their interaction with complex information systems applications
- Solid background in code version control, including branching and merging

PERSON PROFILE:

- Comprehensive experience in all phases of the delivery life cycle from Experience of both Agile and Waterfall delivery methods
- A strong academic track record including the achievement of a good honours degree or equivalent in Computer sciences
- Experience of working within the consulting industry
- Experience of working within the Financial Services sector
- Comfortable liaising with senior client personnel to establish and clarify requirements
- Able to interpret business requirements and align this to the best use of the chosen technology solution
- Excellent communication skills - interviewing, preparation and delivery of presentations and reports
- Ability to proactively manage stakeholders constructively, challenge their suggestions and requirements in order to deliver pragmatic solutions
- Comfortable in working in a diverse and multicultural environments
- Comfortable in working with geographically dispersed teams
- Eager to learn and maintain his/her professional set of certifications.
