PDS Piping Designer Job

PDS PIPING DESIGNER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Allentown, PA.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- PDS software experience.
- Industrial Piping design.
- Microstation experience.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Piping design for a variety of industrial and chemical process type facilities.
- All Piping design work will be done in the PDS software and/or Manual sketches.
- Use of Microstation software also integral with design responsibilities.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software particularly Excel.
- This is for a Designer, NOT an engineer.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Individual must have current design experience in process piping design and have the ability to utilize a P & ID to develop a constructable and cost effective 3D model and piping isometric design drawings.
- Individual must have a working knowledge of valves, in-line devices and typical support details.
- Individual will gather information from all sources required, including other disciplines, vendors, engineers, reference drawings and catalogs to produce complete functional and constructible design packages.
- Individual must have good interpersonal and communication skills.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Piping Designers with cryogenic design experience is a PLUS!
