PDM Technician (Temporary)

PDM TECHNICIAN (TEMPORARY) - CLEVEDON

My client who is a market leader in a niche industry is looking to hire a number of PDM Technicians to join their team in Clevedon on a temporary basis. The roles are in place to accelerate the development of a better way to manage and control the operation of material and labour through Mapics. MBoM v EBoM

KEY DUTIES/ACTIVITIES

- Produce Manufacturing Bills of Materials (MBoM) for products to ensure product is manufactured efficiently and economically
- Ensure the MBoM is produced to the relevant company standards
- Work within the companies processes and procedures
- Develop an understanding of Engineering Change processes, and the appreciation of knock-on effect change has to other departments
- Develop an understanding of manufacturing methods and processes used and ensure these are represented in the MBoM.
- Work within timescales set by the Product Data Management Team Leader and communicate all issues or delays.
- Where required support any quality process improvement projects
- Work in a safe and effective manner in compliance with the Company's Health and Safety policy and ensure that the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act are met.

My client is willing to offer an hourly rate of £13ph - £15ph. This is an initial 6-12 month contract with a very real chance of the role being extended.
