Job description:
The PCRF Mobile Data Core Solution Engineer plays a key role to maintain the Evolved Packet Core architecture delivered by CISCO and define and implement the evolution of the mobile data "core" network to support the traffic growth and renewal.
He/She
*Will have to design, Integrate, test and deploy the capacity growth and renewal of the PCRF (based on Nokia ATCA technologies) of the Mobile Data Core.
*Will have to manage the introduction of new services on the current PCRF infrastructure (eg European Roaming obligations, new business bundles/rules, interworking with OCS).

*Translating business requirements into technical design and recommendation to fit the best to solution & network architecture
*Ensuring accurate and cost effective network design continuously focusing on further improving network performance, quality and customer experience of data services
*Aligning with internal stakeholders on implementation of new products or features and translating needs into qualitative solutions with low time to market in close cooperation with external vendors
He/she will also have to Supports operational department in case of incidents and design solutions which strengthen the stability of the services for the customers with the required work pack/method of procedures
Required skills:
*He/she has at least 5 years' experience in:
oPCRF from Nokia ATCA technology
oEvolved Packet Core infrastructure engineering, development and deployment of new services preferably on ASR5000 and ASR5500 CISCO platforms.
oSignificant expertise in a wide-range of ICT technologies and knowledge of mobile data protocols (Radius, DNS, Diameter, LDAP, GPRS, UMTS, GRE, L2TP) and devices (GGSN, SGSN, MME, PCRF, S-PGW,TCP Optimizer, CGNat)
*He/she has some experience with LAN/WAN Routing & Switching skills (including routing protocols as BGP & OSPF).
*He/she has experience in design, implementation and validation of new services and technologies, as well as capacity & quality follow-up
*He/she is a good team player with excellent communicationHaving project management skills is an advantage.
Other skills:
*Master in IT or in telecommunication or equivalent by experience
*Fluent in English (spoken and written). Dutch and/or French is an asset
