PCI Compliance Program Manager

POSITION: Program Management/Command Office Lead

OUR CLIENT, A LARGE MEDIA COMPANY LOCATED IN THE PERIMETER AREA OF ATLANTA, IS ADDING A PROGRAM MANAGER TO LEAD A PCI COMPLIANCE EFFORT ACROSS ALL OF ITS COMPANIES. THIS IS AN 6-8 MONTH CONTRACT TO LEAD THIS EFFORT.

ROLE: A Senior Program Manager with experience delivering business process improvement, application development, and infrastructure, focused security projects related to the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standards (DSS). The Program Management role will define the scope, costs, project plan, risks and issues, and manage PCI assessments, remediation, and de-scoping activities across multiple work streams.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES AND JOB DUTIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

- Plan, organize, and manage PCI DSS Compliance projects from the scoping phase through remediation
- Identify resource requirements (skills, competencies, and roles) to identify key program resources
- Lead and manage cross-functional project teams and activities within the constraints of quality, scope, schedule, and budget
- Conduct ROI analysis and business case studies for project approval
- Perform business process evaluation to improve current processes within the business and IT
- Ensure alignment of project objectives and business needs with the project sponsors
- Develop, and manage issues, risks, actions items, change control, and communication plans
- Negotiates resolutions to project issues where cost, schedule, scope or quality are at risk
- Monitors project budget against actual costs incurred
- Ensure resource managers are informed of the required resource needs
- Track project metrics (Schedule Performance Index (SPI), Cost Performance Index (CPI), requirements exposure, quality control, etc.) to effectively manage scope, cost, quality and schedule

REQUIRED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

- Strategic and technical experience in managing PCI remediation programs
- Expertise in translating the PCI DSS 3.1 standard
- High level of organizational and strategic awareness
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Deep experience developing and PCI DSS Compliance Functional Specification Documentation: Use Case Specifications, Use Case Diagrams, Process Flow Diagrams, Entity Relationship Diagrams.
- Knowledge in establishing and executing governance frameworks for both constituent projects and the PCI DSS Standard Compliance program
- Ability to strategically define program pacing and obtain incremental benefits prior to program completion
- Advanced skills in financial management and budgeting
- Strong knowledge and experience in Business Requirements Gathering
- Experience delivering both Traditional & Agile Project Management Methodologies
