PCB Designer

Southeast MA Design Firm needs a PCB Designer. This is a 2 - 4 month contract position with a possibility for direct hire. Candidates must have Allegro PCB and circuit board design and layout experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- You will be responsible for PCB design and layout using Allegro PCB.
- You will work with Senior Level PCB CAD Engineer designing and developing new analog, digital, and mixed-signal printed circuit board assemblies.
- Interface with electrical and mechanical engineers on board layout, design constraints and packaging.

REQUIREMENTS

- You must have Allegro PCB experience, knowledge of PCB materials, finishes, fabrication and assembly, and experience with PCB Layout tools. Experience with PADS PowerPCB and Altium PCB is a plus.
- Must have at least five ( 5 ) years of experience as a PCB Design Engineer with Printed Circuit Board design and layout, preferably with Allegro.
- Associates or Bachelor's of Science in Electrical, Computer or Mechanical Engineering is a plus, but not required.
- Knowledge of high speed board design and board constraining.
- Experience with SolidWorks, CircuitWorks, OrCAD and/or DxDesigner is a plus.
- Must be a local self starter with great organizational and technical skills.
