PCB Design Engineer

PCB Design Engineer. My client works at the leading edge of the 4g Mobile Telecoms industry and they are looking for an additional PCB Design Engineer to join their team.

The role will span a variety of interesting new product development projects as well as design work for existing products and will consist of producing PCB designs for a range of customer and project requirements. The PCB Designer will be playing a pivotal role in providing solutions for applying innovative designs and staying ahead of technical innovations in the industry generally. Considering cost in designs is also an important element.

There will be a variety of internal stakeholders, partners, suppliers and customers to liaise with. You'll work closely with Program Managers to ensure timely delivery of prototypes, with MCAD engineers for thermal/mechanical requirements, with PCB vendors to resolve and document any issues and with other teams in support of the establisged quality procedures.

The successful candidate will have a proven background in PCB design, ideally with a strong background in RF circuits. Exposure to Telecoms, especially 4g (LTE/WiMAX) would be of benefit. You will also need good knowledge of Mentor PADS.
