PCB CAD Designer

This is an opportunity to work with a global player in the communication industry, they have a strong presence across a number of disciplines with several sites across theUK.

they currently require a PCV design engineer to provide CAD services to the Research and Development team contributing to several large projects, you shall design PCB's at both rapid prototype and production quality levels. The PCB CAD engineer will be working alongside the electronics Hardware engineers to deliver quality designs in this fast paced team.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate experience of:

Required to support analogue and digital projects in multiple projects relating to communication product activities.

The CAD Engineer will be working on the creation of new designs and also maintenance of existing designs in close conjunction with the Electronics Engineers.

Essential skills:

Excellent skills in PCB layout using the Mentor Graphics PC-PADS toolset with DX-Designer and the associated Databook libraries.

Strong experience in the design of dense surface mount device based circuit boards operating at up to 50MHz.

Experience in electronic CAD design for EMC compliance together with controlled impedance PCB designs.
