The PC Technician will partner with the Client Services Analyst to provide excellent customer service and proactive technical expertise to facilitate the effective use of IT products and services by customers in North Alabama IT Field Operations. This work will be located in, but not limited to, Birmingham and Anniston Alabama. This is an operational position responsible for the timely replacement of PC and printers whose lease is up, PC reimaging, and PC Warranty break-fix work.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Install standard, endorsed or certified off the shelf software and/or hardware devices, and provide minimal onsite training to get the client started.
- Interface with the customer and other IT groups related to problems and installations as appropriate.
- Understand and adhere to billing and performance processes and procedures.
- Schedule appointments

TECHNICIAN REQUIREMENTS:

- Two-year degree (college/technical/vocational) or equivalent experience in electronics, telecommunications and/or computer technology is required.
- Ability to logically troubleshoot and repair hardware and software associated with personal computers and peripheral devices.
- Knowledge of PC hardware, operating systems, and associated peripheral and software components.
- Ability to work independently, self -starter with good time management skills.
- Demonstrated Customer Service Skills
- Communications skills
- A valid driver's license with no violations and a good safety record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
