PC Technician

Our direct Fortune 500 client located near Cleveland is looking for a PC Technician with a HS Diploma, A+ certification and at least 2 years of PC Tech experience to work in their Warehouse and Configuration Center. Responsibilities will include diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, refurbishing, and cofiguring PC's, laptops, and other hareware. This is a 6 month contract with extensions highly likely. Required:

- Diagnoses, repairs, and refurbishes PCs, laptops, printers, computer peripherals, and/or miscellaneous hardware equipment in order to extend the life cycle of computer equipment
- Configures desktops, laptops, Servers, and other computer hardware equipment according to ticket specifications
- Works on assignments that are routine and that recognize accepted practice, and is able to apply this knowledge and judgment to more difficult problems
- Refers only the most complex issues to higher levels for guidance and resolution
- May serve as a technical resource for other areas in the PC configuration process
- Orients, trains, and checks the work of lower level resources.
- High School diploma with A+ certification and at least two years of PC technician experience.

Plusses:

- Prior experience using Lotus Notes databases and asset management systems using barcode technology preferred.
