Proteus Europe is searching for an PC Support Engineer to support end-users and their PCs and Support activities on the Servers on site for one of our clients in Belgium.

YOUR NEW ROLE :-

Activities
- Maintain the asset information, keeping it up-to-date to reflect the actual asset landscape at SESARJU at all times

Contact the end-user and make practical arrangements for the work to take place
- Coordinate pre-installation activities (eg network connectivity) and hold site survey if required for the IMACD Service Request
- Check with the user for the back-up of the end-users data stored locally on the EUC.
- Deliver the hardware and/or software IMACD Services according to the Service Request
- If required, configure installed hardware and/or software according to approved configurations
- Restore the end-users profile
- Provide EUC hardware assets

LAN patching in wiring cabinets
- Activate LAN switch port in line with procedures and prescribed configuration requirements of the customer
- Move and connect the fixed phone 11device to the floor box - only when moving the fixed phone device goes together with moving the EUC device
- Update the asset management application for each performed IMACD Service Request, including the
- information on the location of physical assets
- Return any de-installed EUC hardware to the buffer stock under control of the Contractor
- Return any obsolete de-installed EUC hardware (which has reached its end of life) to the customer
- Token management for external users
- 1st line Break/Fix for the printing infrastructure
- Printer toner replacement
- 1st line Server management (reboot, on-site troubleshooting in cooperation with remote 2nd and 3rd level)

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE :-

Essential Skills :-
Function/skills: Windows-engineer with knowledge of end-user equipment and Servers
Activities : On-site support for end-users and their PCs and Support activities on the Servers, located on site

Desirable Skills :-
Customer- and service-oriented
Good end-user interaction skills
