PC/Mac Support Technician

IT SUPPORT TECH ANDOVER, MA CONTRACT POSITION

We re looking for a PC/MAC SUPPORT TECHNICIAN for a great contract position. This position will be responsible for inventory, Ghost Imaging, documentation and parts ordering. Must have current A+ Certification. We need a high energy person with a great personality and the ability to work without direct supervision.

OVERVIEW

- Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs PC computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals.
- Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems.
- Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups.
- Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed.
- Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs.
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- Typically reports to a project leader or manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

- 2 + years experience and must have some MAC system experience
- Must have current A+ certification
- Ability to support a user base of 200+ users.
- Must have MAC OS systems/hardware experience
- Must have high level of energy, work independently, great communication and writing skills
- Knowledge of commonly-used support concepts, practices, and procedures
- Must be able to work independently and with other IT Teams
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- May require an associate's degree or its equivalent
