PC/LAN Administrator

Position Title: PC/LAN Administrator

Duration: Contract- 12 Months

Location: Atlanta, GA 30309

Our client is seeking a PC/LAN Administrator for a 12 month contract position in the Atlanta Midtown area. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing Level 2 PC/LAN support, troubleshooting problems, interfacing with customers, Information Technology personnel, and other departments in a large corporate environment. The candidate's primary responsibility will be the day to day support of remote devices that may or may not be attached to a domain. The ability to think outside of the box to resolve issues is a daily requirement. The candidate will be expected to analyze complicated systems and document application standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

- 4-year College degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft SCCM 2007
- Experience with iOS and Android OS (phones and pads/tablets)
- Experience with mobile device management administration (preferably Afaria)
- Experience with USMT and other data migration practices in support of computer refresh projects
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Scripting technologies (VBScript, PowerShell, AutoIt, batch, Wise, Perl, etc.).
- Ability to administer remote devices using command line utilities (SC, cacls, reg, runas, schtasks, Microsoft PSTools, etc.)
- Working knowledge of Altiris/Symantec
- Knowledge of GPOs and how they work
- Working knowledge of Microsoft networking technologies
- Working knowledge of Ethernet based TCP/IP Networking Technologies
- Advanced troubleshooting of remote devices that are on the domain or in a workgroup
- Experience supporting remote devices in a large enterprise organization
- Ability to understand basic scripts; advanced script writing is a plus but not required
