PC Lab Technician Job

PC LAB TECHNICIAN needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Needham, Massachusetts.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- The Lab Technician will assist with PC and server hook up, software loads, configuration from the keyboard, following test procedures and help logistician set up and break down computer equipment.
- Monitors and operates computers and related peripheral equipment.
- Sets up, monitors, and operates computers and peripheral equipment, such as printers, tape and disk drives.
- Selects and loads input and output.
- Observes operation of equipment, control panels, error lights, verification printouts, error messages, and faulty output.
- Maintains records and prepares reports as required.
- Assists in performing system back-ups.
- Routes error messages to appropriate personnel.
- Participates in special projects as required.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
- 0-1 years of related computer operations experience.
