Payroll Specialist

Payroll Specialist - Part Time (3 days) - Salary/Payroll

Project People are currently recruiting on behalf of a growing organisation for a Payroll Specialist. This is a contract opportunity starting ASAP. My client are looking for someone to work on a part time basis (3 days a week - 25 hours) and will be based Hammersmith area.

As Payroll Specialist you will be responsible for inputting, processing and checking the monthly Payroll for my client. You will need to have previous experience within a payroll position where you held sole responsibility for the payroll function.

Payroll Specialist - Responsibilities:
- Using an outsourced payroll company you will be responsible for updating the payroll/salary database, updating new starter details/bank details, update any pay changes/pensions/childcare vouchers etc on the system.
- Ensure HRMS and the payroll company contract and hourly rate information is properly recorded
- Download payroll data as required on a monthly basis
- Act as the key contact for all employee payroll related enquiries and respond accordingly
- Complete quarterly reconciliation of Tax and NI, coordinate payroll year end (including P11Ds and P60s).

We are looking for an experienced Payroll clerk with experience in using an outsourced payroll company and with the following skill set:
- Clear communication skills
- Tax and NI reconciliations
- Payroll year end
- Point of Contact for all employees
- Attention to detail
