This is an opportunity for a Systems Accountant to join a highly successful public company based in Southampton. The systems accountant will be working on the delivery of a new payroll system, and so must have a significant background working with payroll systems.
The accountant will be further responsible for the design and testing of procedures to support the ongoing payroll operation. By working with the IT function to establish procedures, process and controls to effectively control the generation of data, the accountant will ensure the accuracy of the payroll system.
SKILLS REQURIED
- Qualified Accountant
- Proven commercial accounting background as a systems or project accountant
- Work with payroll systems
- Process and procedure experience within accountancy
- Experience with financial systems
