Payroll Manager (Resourcelink)

*Manage all matters relating to the payment of salaries and employee business expenses for all UK based employees in an effective and efficient manner.
*Ensure payments to employees and statutory and contractual payments are made accurately and on time.
*The maintenance of payroll policies and procedures to meet the company's statutory and contractual obligations.
*Initiate and progress improvements to the computer programs and systems to meet statutory and company policy requirements.
*Maintain and update procedures to meet the company's policy, audit and internal control requirements.
*Responsible for all monthly tax reporting and year end procedures
*Reconcile all nominal ledger accounts relating to salaries at the end of each month.
*Reimburse business expenses to employees ensuring compliance with statutory law and company policy.
*Develop and train HR team members to ensure sufficient cover for own absence
*Working knowledge of ResourceLink payroll software
*Proficient with Microsoft Excel
*Proficient in use of Cognos reporting tool
