Payroll Manager/Payroll Specialist required for a leading media company based in West London.

Working on a part time basis in a 9 month contract, you will work within a HR team providing Payroll and Project Support

This position is a very varied role. You will spend approximately 5 days a month on the payroll processes but the rest of your time will be working directly with the HR Director on Payroll specific projects to try and streamline processes.

This is a fantastic role, working for a large, leading organisation. The part time hours are flexible. The need someone who can ideally work for three days a week but which days are flexible and they may possibly consider 5 days a week at reduced hours.

Key Accountabilities and Activities

Payroll Administration

*Update the ADP database with any salary/payroll related approved contractual changes on Payroll tracker
*Ensure all changes are properly approved in accordance with company policies
*Enter data such as new starter/bank details on ADP (P45/P46)
*Enter leavers' details on ADP, including checking payments and deductions to be made
*Enter appointment changes/salary increases on ADP
*Enter pensions on ADP
*Season ticket loans/Cycle to work scheme/Childcare voucher administration, approval processes/applications on ADP
*Share Scheme Plan contributions are correctly administered
*Overtime administration and uploading onto ADP
*Checking pension deductions, liaising with Finance and with pension administrators on all pension requirements/pension payments online
*Adding variable payments to PDE grid
*Raise maternity schedules, liaise with ADP, track and check returned schedule. Processing of paternity/maternity payment arrangements
*Ensure payroll deadlines are adhered to.
*Check monthly payroll, including pre-commit report(s),
*Review monthly payroll with Finance (including scheduling meetings in advance)
*Liaise with ADP.
*Ensure HRMS & ADP cost centre, contract & Hourly rate information is properly recorded in order that staff costs are correctly recorded
*Download Payroll data as required from the HRMS/SAP system on a monthly basis and upload into ADP as appropriate.
*Interface and liaise with ADP on behalf of the Company in all Payroll related matters.
*Act as the key contact for all employee payroll related enquiries and respond accordingly ensuring queries are successfully resolved.
*Complete ADP Quarterly reconciliation of Tax and NI
*Coordinate any Payroll Year End processes with the Company and ADP including P11Ds and P60's.

Projects

*Support the review, transition and integration of HR processes into company processes.
*Contribute to the Payroll Globalisation project, as required.
*Take lead role in the local Payroll project to increase efficiency and automate as many processes as possible via HRMS. Increase alignment of payroll processes.
