The Role:
Payroll Manager, covering payroll duties for x3 companies.
Total heads > 300.
Preparation & review of payroll data, ready for submission to payroll provider
Subsequent review & validation of payroll data for accuracy/completeness
Complexities include stock options, share exercises, ESPP.
International movers

Duties (include):
Download, Print, Sort Source Documents (HMRC, Deloitte, NW Brown, HR SS, SPS, Emails)
Validate information (authorisations, rates, limits)
Company Car Handover Mtg (Top Up payments, scheme movements)
Process Stock Plan Services Transactions
Process Source Documents and input on Payroll Spreadsheets (Calculate pro rata, adhoc earnings, mid month joiner/leaver payments)
Input data into OmniSlip
Check Input
Send to Payroll Bureau for processing
Check Output data
Rerun if necessary
Check re run
Filing payroll data into company files
Basic Salary Recs
Check and Upload Bank Files
Payroll sign off meetings
Tax payments, treasury email, scan documents to SSC,
Collate UK data for French and German Social Security Payrolls (Send to ADP, German Entity) Check French SS Payroll data
Process UK Pension payments, joiners, leavers, personal data changes
Upload assignee payslips to Deloitte website
Upload payroll journals to Oracle
Employee Queries (net pay calculations, advance payments, tax code checking, company car taxation)

Up to date knowledge on 'payroll' rules/regulations (Tax/NI, etc.)

Accounts reconciliation for payroll associated elements (tax/NI/pension, etc).

Years of Experience
At least 5 years in high volume environment

Educational Requirement
Chartered accountant or member of CIPP

Excellent verbal and written skills

Experience using Outlook, Word, Excel,
