POSITION:- PAYROLL PROCESS MANAGER - T3 COMPANY:- NORTHGATE ARINSO- UNILEVER CONTRACT LOCATION:- KINGSTON Requirements of the role To ensure that day to day HRO outsourced services for the client are delivered in accordance with current contract which outline Service levels. Payroll consists of UK resident and International Assignees. Work as part of a shared service providing a NgA (Outsourced) payroll service for the Client Unilever Manage all aspects of a Monthly and Weekly payroll Service. Support UK operational Payroll team of 3 located at Kingston and 2 at Birmingham NgA office. Work with Team in Manila and UK to manage service Ticketing system to meet agreed SLA. Ensure production of payroll process for approximately 8000 employees using the SAP payroll system. Ensure Payroll production adheres to relevant compliance, legislation and internal SOX control SAS70 checks. Ensure Annual and End of Year processing calendars are produced in timely manner and agreed with the Client. Support NgA Service Delivery Heads in terms of operational meetings with the client. Good verbal and written communication skills.


- Actions any changes to customer specific Terms and Conditions to ensure accurate payments are made.
- Records customer issues and complaints to instigate corrective action.
- Reviews regular payrolls currently in production to ensure Best Practice processes are adhered to.
- Provides information as requested by customers in terms of their contracts.
- Liaises with customer regarding disruptions to service levels and implement corrective action.
- Understands the customer SLA.
- Attends customer meeting's and Service Reviews as and when required


- Basic numeracy skills
- Experience of customer handling skills (by telephone, face to face and written contact)
- Excellent Payroll knowledge and experience

Experience of working with large payroll minimum of 3000.


- IPPM Foundation/Practitioner (or working towards this qualification)
- Experience in an Outsourcing environment


- PC literacy - Word and Excel (basic level) and Outlook
- Knowledge of payroll systems
