PAYROLL HELPDESK ADMINISTRATOR - CANARY WHARF BASED - CONTRACT

A major Investment Bank is looking to recruit a Payroll Helpdesk Administrator to join the Human Resources division.

The Payroll Department processes approximately 6,000 European based employees and is responsible for paying employees accurately on time and in completing the task they ensure compliance with all relevant legislation.

The Payroll Helpdesk Administrator will be first point of contact for many internal and external clients and will be therefore required to represent the department in a professional and customer focussed manner.

Key Skills required for a Payroll Helpdesk Administrator:

*Qualified to an A-Level standard or equivalent.
*Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel and Word specifically).
*Understanding of any Payroll or Hr Systems (Advantageous)
*Experience of working within a large blue chip organisation and have the ability to work under pressure.
*Excellent organisational skills
*Professional and customer focussed communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.

Responsibilities of a Payroll Helpdesk Administrator:

*First point of contact for all email and telephone communication to the Payroll Department.
*Review all incoming mail to the Payroll email inbox. Allocate instructions and answer or allocate queries received.
*Provide copies of historic documents to employees (P60's, P11d's, Payslips etc).
*Support the Payroll Administrators with payroll input when required.
*Management of National Insurance fast track application process.
