£19,581 - £21,476 per annum, pro rata
28 to 37 hours per week

Southdown is a not-for-profit organisation working with over 4,250 vulnerable people across Sussex, providing accommodation and practical support that enable service users to have more control over their lives.

An opportunity has arisen within the Finance Department for an additional floating resource to provide support to the team across a range of duties. You will act as a flexible addition to our team and support payroll and general ledger functions as needed, whilst we bed-in a range of major new systems, upgrades and changes to processes. You will need to be adaptable and flexible with good all-round accounting and payroll experience.

Main duties will include:

• Processing a variety of payroll, timesheets and changes to tax codes
• Processing of sick records and calculating effect on pay
• Assistance with the implementation of RTI and auto enrolment
• Revision and reconciliation of the Association's Asset Registers
• Purchase ledger processing
• Supplier payments
• Sales invoicing and credit control
• Data input to ledgers and rents accounting systems
• Filing and housekeeping.
