Payroll Consultant

Our client requires a Payroll consultant based in Reading.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

* Responsible for the processing of allocated Group Payrolls.
. Ensure monthly processing of non UK Inter-Company re-charges.
* Responsible for UK Payroll costing adjustments.
. Ensure that key management reports are distributed monthly.
. Ensure monthly Payroll control processes are completed in line with laid down Control document.
. Ensure key month end returns are completed in line with deadlines.
. Ensure all enquiries are answered within laid down time-scales.
. Review and report health and safety concerns for self and team.

UNIQUE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTE

Experience and knowledge required:

. Experience in a Payroll Function, with emphasis on Payroll accounting/Payroll processing/controls.
. Experience of Expatriate Payrolls (advantageous)
. Attention to detail when reviewing work and an appreciation of the requirements of general accounting principles.
. Knowledge and awareness of UK Tax and NI rules.
. Microsoft Office - Excel, Word and Adobe.
. Working knowledge of PAYE Statutory Returns including P11D, RTI.
